Kamryn

I think these facts had a impact on Allen Says life because as a writer he has to go through phases in his writing. And those phases helped him become a great writer.

Today we got to read the BFG.  The BFG is our global read aloud and a 4th grade teacher's learners responded to us on twitter.  So far the BFG is awesome. We are also doing book clubs today we made a three level question. A level one question is something you now in a instant, a level two question is something that you can find in the book, and a level three question is something that is not in the book but it's mainly a what if... so were doing that off the BFG but we are having a awesome time with Mrs.Phillips and I think am speaking for everyone                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               By Magnus Eriksson

Today we read The B.F.G by: Ronald Dahl chapter 2 who.when we were reading we noticed some unfamiliar words like peer, tinkling, and deathly still. We thought that the word peer meant like peek because if we replaced the word peer with peek it would still make sense.and we found found out what deathly still meant in chapter 1 the withching hour.we thought that it meant like nothing is moving, every thing is still. And last we found out what tingling meant like when you get goosebumps and you get that weird feeling or when you get a little shaken. After we found out those words we read a word cloak, some of us did not know what that word meant then we looked at the picture on that page it showed a very TALL thing. One of our class mates thought that the word cloak meant like a jacket, another one of our classmates said that he thought it was a robe, in my head i thought a cloak was kind of like a blanket because of the movie Harry Potter when Harry gets a invisible cloak. My teacher also had seen the movie Harry potter and said the same thing but in different words. After we read chapter 2 who,our teacher Mrs.Phillaps told us to write some 2 level questions  don't know what other students wrote but I wrote What would happen if the thing(possibly the B.F.G)never came?I also wrote what did the thing wear? Then Mrs.Phillaps told us "after you guys get done read independently then when i say get with your reading club".when she said that me and Izzy(my group)got together at are meeting spot I shared what my questions were me and my partner both thought that if the thing(possibly the B.F.G never came then the bad giants would come(fleshlumpeater and bloodbottler)then when that time was over we shared with someone I shared with my friend aubree then we all shared on the carpet but i didn't get to share on the carpet because i had to start writing this for you oh and P.S we also made a chart with dislikes and likes about a reading club from each group.P.S I dislike wasting time!

Today we worked on predicting what a word is that we don't know and we also worked on making a rubric. The thing I liked today was making a  rubric and predicting what the word is that we don't know. The thing I mostly liked was making a rubric because I like making rubric's  and I like seeing what grades that people can get. The learner of the day is Anthony because he was staying focused on his work the whole time and he was on topic the whole time. He was also was doing good on his work the whole time. And that is why I choose Anthony.
